So why Eclectic Hag?

The word "hag" originally referred to a wise or holy woman. Later it was synonymous with "fairy" and then with "witch". More recently it has been used interchangeably with The Crone. While some like to use it as an insult, I prefer to embrace it. I am no longer the maiden and my children are now past mothering. I proudly wear The Hag and hopefully have earned a bit of wisdom.

So what about being eclectic? I have a passion for ancient symbology, divination, the history and practice of witchcraft, paganism, druidism, and the cultural variations of these. As a crafter and maker I incorporate my eclectic interests into the things I design.

And so, The Eclectic Hag was born melding all my interests into the activity that brings me joy - creating.
